Dell
Tablet

Dell enters the Fray with a 7" Tablet by Nov 15th, then with
a 10", 3" and 4" tablets. Makes you wonder - will Laptops as
we know them, with a hinge and "real keyboard" be
obsolete by the end of 2011? 2012?
Apple appears to have a 7" iPad in the works. I'm sure it will have
front/rear facing camera. Will it have micro USB? Will it have
microphone? Only Steve Knows Rumor has it, Samsung's Galaxy tablet could be a genuine iPad competitor!

Reports
say you may be able to watch TV on this 10inch version of the
Motorola/Verizon Tablet & that it
supports Flash video--a feature the iPad lacks. It would
have a rear-facing camera for taking photos & a front-facing
camera for video conferencing. There's a possibility you could
also be able to turn the tablet into a Wi-Fi hotspot, suggests
the device would likely have 3G connectivity provided by Verizon.

3M introduces Handheld Projector
This is a truly amazing product. I’m assuming there will be an interface which allows you to download your Powerpoint presentations to this tiny projector. You will not need a VGA cord, as it projects the images from the handheld (and possibly from a handheld phone some day). To get sound, there will probably be an audio jack which will have to be run to speakers. Simply Amazing!
Cost: $300
Release Date: late 2008

G1 - The Google/Android Phone from T-Mobile
Official Specifications of the phone
T-mobile Live Event Transcription - phone has been officially announced and will be ready for sale on 10/22/2008. The phone is dubbed the "G1."
Android is a new operation system (platform) developed by Google that can be adopted by all the cell phone manufacturers. T-mobile is the first. It joins Palm, Windows, iPhone and Symbian operating systems among many others. I hoping Verizon adds it next!
Here's an Gphone demo done by Sergie, a co-founder of Google.
Android features: Touch phone, Move web pages with fingers, Rich browser history (you see thumbnails of past web pages you’ve seen), 3 G speed, Panorama images/satellite on maps, and tons more stuff. I bet there will be everything that's on the current iPhone platform.
